So most of us are sick of Google Analytics, its inaccurate and has some real dodgy implications for busineses.  Google already has too much data about all of us and lets face it "dont be evil" went out the window a long time ago.

I normally run awstats unless I want to test specific things with Google analytics ;-) but recently have been reviewing piwik which is positioning itself as a google analytics replacement.

PPC Strategies and SEO Strategies are natural bedfellows. While often seen as competing they are far more complimentary than competitive when used are part of the same Strategy.

SEO takes longer to build than PPC which can be turned on and off at the typing of a credit card number, what surprises me is that a lot of people do not use this advantage of PPC as part of their SEO Strategy.

Got a call today from a guy I know quite well after he sat through a pitch from an SEO company who were talking about Expert SEO Strategies and he wanted to know my opinion of what they said.

Recently I have been running some experimental Seo Strategies on live.com V google V yahoo, now out of laziness I had analytics to monitor the stats installed. What you are looking to do is figure out who are the real influencers in your sector, lets take SEO an an example. If we have a quick look at sphinn we can quickly gleam some useful information on where we should spend our time if we wanted to get integrated quickly into a community.

Having a good Social Networking Strategy for yourself is massively helpful if you want to be successful in SEO and consequently be able to develop truly complex SEO strategies.

Its incredibly important that you develop a real verifiable presence on all the key SEO networking sites and all the major business networking sites.

A lot of people spend so much time ego networking trying to become known by everyone that they actually rarely leverage there position and don't get to know anyone well enough to actual transact any business.

I came across Drupal a couple of years ago and have been working extensively with it since to a point of almost exclusively using it.

Frequently I see references to Seo strategy when it appears that people are actually referring to Seo tactics instead of strategies, so here's my 2c on the difference between strategies and Tactics.

The impact of Googles Fear, Uncertainity and Doubt Strategy against SEO's over paid links has started to come back and bite them.

The problem is that since going public they have started to morph in M$ but without the experience or knowledge to pull off a large scale FUD campaign and end up benefiting.

When M$ created FUD around products the end result was that people standarised on there products as a defensive mechanism to avoid the potential issues that they did not understand.
